Our Services
The Global Social Science Research Institute (GSSRI) offers a comprehensive range of services designed to strengthen research skills, uphold ethical standards, and support impactful social science scholarship. Our services are tailored for students, early-career researchers, faculty members, development professionals, and practitioners in Bangladesh and beyond.
We design and deliver hands-on workshops and training programs on research methods, data analysis, and academic communication, combining practical exercises with real-world examples from the social sciences. Our expert trainers provide step-by-step guidance to help participants move from research ideas to high-quality outputs, including theses, reports, and journal articles.
GSSRI also offers mentoring and advisory support, helping researchers refine research questions, improve study design, and navigate ethical and practical challenges in the field. A key part of our work is supporting responsible and ethical research. The institute reviews and assesses research ethics applications and, where relevant, provides ethics approval through an independent review process that considers participant safety, informed consent, data protection, and local context.
We create collaborative learning spaces where participants can receive feedback, share experiences, and build professional networks. Additionally, GSSRI partners with universities, NGOs, research organisations, and government agencies to design customised training packages and capacity-building programs that respond to specific institutional and project needs.
Through these services, GSSRI aims to build a stronger research culture, enhance evidence-based decision making, and contribute to positive social and policy change at local, national, and global levels.
