About us
The Global Social Science Research Institute (GSSRI) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing high-quality social science research and training. Established in 2025 and based in Bangladesh, GSSRI works to strengthen research capacity, promote evidence-based decision making, and support emerging and established researchers across the social science disciplines.
GSSRI focuses on providing practical, skill-based workshops and training programs tailored to the needs of students, early-career researchers, academics, and development professionals. Our core areas include research design, quantitative and qualitative methods, data analysis, academic writing, publication support, and the ethical conduct of research. By combining methodological rigour with real-world relevance, we aim to bridge the gap between theory, research, and practice.
As an independent, non-profit institute, GSSRI is committed to accessibility and inclusion.
We strive to make high-quality research training available to researchers from diverse backgrounds, institutions, and regions of Bangladesh and beyond. We also collaborate with universities, research organisations, NGOs, and government agencies to foster partnerships that enhance social science research and its impact on society.
